Greetings!
I’m Kerrie, a Certified Interview Coach and Recruiter. As a former New York-based prosecutor with nearly 20 years of legal experience, I honed my interviewing skills through countless interactions with victims, witnesses, and experts—extracting critical information to uncover the truth and build compelling criminal cases. This experience solidified my belief that effective communication is essential for achieving success and advancing in any field—and in life.
During my time on the Hiring Committee for the District Attorney’s Office, I saw a common challenge among job candidates: even highly qualified individuals often struggled to clearly present their skills, experiences, and qualifications during interviews. This gap in effective communication inspired me to create Command the Interview, where I use an evidence-based approach to help individuals tell their stories and position themselves for success.
Through my unique dual perspective as both a coach and a recruiter, I offer clients an informed, balanced coaching experience, grounded in empathy, objectivity, strategic thinking, and results-orientation. My approach emphasizes actionable techniques that help clients confidently express their value, increasing their chances of success in any interview setting.
From public service to entrepreneurship, my mission has stayed the same: to help people find their voice, speak with confidence, and take control of their story. I started Command the Interview to give clients the support and tools they need to show up prepared, practiced, and ready to communicate their value, connect with people, and move forward with purpose—at work and beyond.

I enjoyed working with Kerrie throughout the process of preparing me to ace the interview and secure the job. She was patient and encouraging while preparing me with the tools I needed.
